Orthodontics
Doctor Nicole Hartmann practices orthodontics in our two offices (Montreux and Leysin)
What is orthodontics?
Orthodontics consists of moving teeth and modifying jaw growth in order to obtain harmonious dental alignment and thus improve oral functions such as chewing, speaking and swallowing.
Orthodontics is easier for young people, however it is also done for adults.
There are several types of devices, fixed (which remain glued in the mouth such as brackets and rings) or removable (plates or aligners). The techniques vary depending on the patient and the modifications to be made.
